Eligibility Requirements
To register for CFA Level II, the primary requirement is that you must have successfully passed the CFA Level I exam— there are no shortcuts, and levels cannot be skipped. Beyond that, no separate eligibility verification is needed for Level II, since the enrolment criteria were already established when you registered for Level I.
At that point, you would have qualified through one of three pathways: holding a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, being a final-year student within the permitted timeline, or having accumulated 4,000 hours of relevant work experience (or a combination of education and work experience). As long as your original eligibility was valid, you are good to proceed with Level II registration.
